Self-sabotage is a real bitch. I mean I feel like it happens to everyone at some point in life. It’s like you have the belief in yourself in some areas of your life and others you “believe” but you don’t really believe. Maybe you get into comparanoia phase or you get into the what ifs phase. You know what you need to do to dominate but for some reason you hold back your awesomeness.

I have to check myself sometimes because for me it’s easier to get into this sabotage mode than it is to always be in dominate life mode. I think it is because dominate life mode takes heart, emotion, energy and the type of mindset that says don’t talk to me, don’t mess with me I am in hustle my face off mode. For me I get distracted, my brain sees “squirrel” and it takes me forever to get back on pace. OR I sometimes find myself playing the I’ll do it tomorrow game. The I’ll do it later, sabotage always takes me a hot minute to break out of.
This MLM, network marketing, direct sales world is not for the faint of heart. It takes discipline. That of which most of us were never taught. It takes being able to emotionally ride the ups and downs of business, without ever questioning life, your goals and to keep pushing.
Self-sabotage is one of those things that you must acknowledge and get past. FAST, or it will suck you in and pull you down a vicious circle and hold you down on the ground.
I have a couple of tricks up my sleeve for days that I get in a funk and notice I am just not in that dominate all the things mood.
Tip 1: Get yourself a great motivational badass podcast! One that calls you on your shit, and makes you feel like they are talking directly to you. I will sometimes sit in a quiet place with no distractions, breathe, maybe put some lavender essential oils on my feet and remember how much of an awesome leader, person, wife I am.
Tip 2: Get up and move your body! For me I need to move! I feel so good working out! If I have already been to the gym I pick a class or yoga and I go again! OR I break out a morning or afternoon dance sesh. I love finding a great up beat song on YouTube or what ever music app you use and just really feel it! There is no way you won’t be smiling, and it will help take your mind off things.
Tip 3: Make sure your VISION and goals are SO clear that you have to keep it together and keep pushing because you are to important to give up! Chances are all the bs stories you are telling yourself about why you shouldn’t be doing something are exactly why you should be doing something!
Give yourself some grace because life happens but that doesn’t mean you need to LIVE in your excuses and sabotage….. Get up take a dance and get back at it your goals and dreams are waiting for you.
